Bulgarian mountain tea ( Sideritis, Mursal tea ) is a plant that was included in the Red Book. It grows in the forests of Bulgaria, and was discovered by the ancient Greeks. Mursal tea is well known to folk medicine and according to it, the high content of active substances in the tea make it a natural antioxidant. The tea is recommended for use in bronchitis, cough, kidney diseases, urinary and prostate problems, liver and gastrointestinal diseases.
