Bronze medal commemorating the Colonial and Indian Exhibition in London, 1886.

One of around 5000 such medals produced by the Heaton Mint, Birmingham and designed by L.C. Wyon.

Obverse shows bust of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales ( later King Edward VII) , Executive President of the exhibition.

Reverse titles the exhibition in an oak leaf garland surround.

52 mm diameter, 81.6 grams. 

A couple of  small edge knocks and verdigris spots on the obverse.  Light pitting in front of face.
