DMC is the 'World's Favourite Embroidery Thread' and is still manufactured in the factory in France using the finest long staple cotton. It is then mercerised twice to give it exceptional sheen. DMC does not give names to it's shades (except BLANC which is natural white and ECRU which is ...ecru) so please select by number - if you cannot see the number, please read below.
Each skein is 8m long and made up of 6 easily separated strands so that you can vary the number you use to give additional depth and vibrancy to your project.
Washable at 60°C (attention: your fabric!), colourfast, fade-resistant.

We will always try to supply from the same batch for each colour but this cannot be guaranteed.
