In 1976 to celebrate the 7th Anniversary of Qabus Bin Sa'id, Sultanate of Oman, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Omani 5 Five Rial Gold Proof Coin struck in solid .917 Gold and Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR65 DCAM.

The reverse features a portrait of the Sultanate of Oman Qabus Bin Saidi the value and date while the obverse depicts the National Arms of Oman.
