This hard paste porcelain coffee can was made by New Hall circa 1800-07  ,  it is from the Pat Preller collection and bears her label on the base .
It has a spiral fluted body and is decorated with a cobalt blue band and enriched with gilding , this is pattern 452.
It stands at 2 1/2" high and  measures 2 5/8" in diameter , not including the handle .
It is in good condition with no chips or cracks and no crazing , and the gilding is good with just some wear  to the high points on the top edge  , there is slight kiln dust speckles from when it was made  .
This actual coffee can is illustrated in Pat Preller's first book , on page 22 .
