Kendal Bevil Handpainted First Day First Day Cover

Cachets by Kendal Bevil

First cachet was   Claire Chenault, World War II Flying Tiger Commander. He produces about six cachets a month. He does NOT have a cachet for every issue.  Just the ones that he thinks will be popular.

Bevil Cachets motto is:  "The Ones You Keep"

Bevil cachets are top quality works of art.  His distictive airbrush style and artwork makes his cachets some of the most sought after cover in the Stamp Collecting and First Day Cover collecting.  Most of Bevil covers are sold out and hard to find.  Usually the only old covers that become available are through estate sales.  Each cover is numbered with an unique numbering system.  Number 84/112 would indicate that it was number 84 and subscriber number 84 of 112 covers.  Subscribers to Bevil are assigned a number and as long as they remain subscribers that is their number.
