If you wish to arrange your own courier please note we will not provide any packaging for the item and the collection will need to be arranged during our working hours. Also, due to a shortage of storage space, we request that items are to be collected within 7 days of purchase (or contact us to agree a collection date prior to purchase).

We are based in Plymouth at the St Luke's Hospice Plymouth Shop (PL1 1TQ) and we are open Monday-Friday 9.30am-4.30pm (except on Bank Holidays).

Our eBay shop is run by a small team consisting largely of volunteers. All items are checked and described to the best of our ability. All items are donated by members of the public and may require some cleaning or servicing before use. If you are not satisfied with your item, please contact us before leaving feedback so we can resolve the issue.

We request payment within 3 working days of purchase unless by prior arrangement.

Once we have received your payment, we will dispatch your item usually within 2-3 working days. Please contact us if you have any queries. Please note, we are open from 9pm to 4pm Monday to Friday so any correspondence will be dealt with during that time.

We generally ship items using either Royal Mail 48 or by Parcelforce. If you wish your item to be shipped by an alternative courier, please contact us for a quote.

We aim to dispatch items within 2 working days of payment. Small parcels are usually sent by Royal Mail 48 or 24 and large parcels are sent by Parcelforce 48 or 24.

Please note, that any parcels exceeding £50 in value will be sent by Parcelforce.   

Please select your chosen option at the checkout or contact us with your chosen postage option so we can update your invoice before payment.

If you require your parcel urgently, please contact us as we may be able to make separate arrangements to dispatch this earlier.

Unfortunately, we are unable to post items which have been listed as 'Local Pick Up / Collection Only'.

 

Domestic Postage:

Please note: UK Highlands & Islands may be subject to an extra postage charge. Please contact us for a quote.

Royal Mail 48: For letters and small parcels (not tracked). Delivery usually within 2-3 working days of posting although this may take longer during busy periods such as Christmas.

Royal Mail 24 : For letters and small parcels. Delivery usually within 1-2 working days of posting. Delivery may take longer during busy periods such as Christmas.

Parcelforce 24/48: For items over 4kg. Delivery usually within 1-2 working days of posting. Items will be sent fully tracked and you will receive a text message or email once dispatched which allows you to change the delivery date to a more convenient time or to arrange delivery to a local Post Office if required. Parcels may require a signature on delivery. Delivery may take longer during busy periods such as Christmas.

Other courier: If you would like us to ship items by an alternative courier, please contact us for a quote.
 

International Postage:

We no longer offer direct International postage but some of our listings will be available via the Global Shipping Programme (GSP) and any costs involved will be displayed.

Please note: We do not set the shipping costs for Global Shipping Programme so we are unable to adjust.

Collection:

Items can be collected Monday to Friday 9.30am - 4pm from St Luke's Hospice Plymouth Shop  (PL1 1TQ). In line with eBay policy, full address details will be disclosed after purchasing through eBay.

Unwanted or Unsuitable Goods

Please contact us before you return your item. Unwanted goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt, in their original condition, complete with all labels and instructions, at the purchaser's expense. A full refund will be issued at the earliest time after the unwanted item has been received. We recommend that you send items by recorded delivery, as we cannot be held responsible for goods that do not arrive.
 

Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event of any item being faulty or not as described, we will either refund in full, or replace free of charge (subject to stock availability). Please message us and we will resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

St Luke's Hospice Plymouth cares for patients with terminal and life limiting illnesses.  We are passionate about offering our patients dignity and choice at a time in their lives when they may feel they have none. Our vision is to provide the best end of life care to all patients wherever their preferred place of care might be Hospice, Hospital or Home.
