Fend Ballpoint Pen
Classy 900 grade
silver German
made ballpoint pen by
FEND
I couldn’t find out a huge amount
about the Fend
company other
than that they
started in either 1899
or 1900 one source
said they closed
in 1967 and just read
someone else
saying it was the
1990s.
They were most famous
for their
multi-coloured
ballpoint pens and
propelling pencils
and this is what
seems to be mostly
for sale as well –
not that there’s a
lot of any sort of
Fend pens for sale in comparison to
all the other high end vintage brands.
This listing is for the second of the
ballpoint pens with a clip.
(No box with this one
just the pen)
There is no model
identifying stamps
so I can’t tell you
what model it is.
Simply stamped:
FEND 900
We purchased three
Fend silver pens
all being stored in a
Fend case but
as the three are all
different we are
separating them so
see our other
listings for the
other two pens.
They are all three in
excellent
vintage condition.
The shirt pocket clip
on this one
Is plain with no
logo.
It is round in shape with
a ‘pinstripe’
type parallel line detailing.
Dates to 1960s or
thereabouts.
CONDITION
In excellent vintage condition
with few signs of age and use.
The press button function works
but can be a bit sticky and might
need some attention – not sure.
NO dents, ‘bumps’ or scratches just
normal light overall surface marks
consistent with age and very light use.

Pen measures approximately:
12.2cm (4 3/4") long
