This hard paste porcelain coffee cup and saucer was made by New Hall circa 1787-95 , it is from the Pat Preller collection and bears her label on the base .
It has a clip handle and is decorated with light brown leaves and enriched with gilding ,  this is pattern 142 .
The cup stands at 2 1/2" high and the saucer measures 5 1/8" in diameter .
There is a large chip and a smaller chip on the edge of the saucer there is no glaze crazing , the gilding is good with just slight wear , mostly on the inner ring of the saucer .
