Large, Pre-Owned Handmade Navajo Indian Ceremonial Basket.

Nice Wedding Basket that has been probably used several times in Weddings and Traditional Healing Ceremonies. 

The basket measures approximately 12 1/2 inches across with an "inside" depth of 1 3/4 inches.

The basket weave is tight enough that the majority of light is blocked when held up to the light. The center of the weave is so tight that a plug wasn't / isn't necessary.  

There is no bleeding of the dyes. There is some cracking and small pieces of the sumac missing. No more than what can be expected.
