This iPod is in good working condition. The headphone jack plastic rim has damage that minimally affects functionalty (it didn't like one of my headphones); the iPod Remote accessory was tested to work perfectly fine with it. The back aluminum casing had been polished to a much cleaner condition than before, although the polishing job isn't perfect because the polishing was done by me (an idiot).

The battery life was tested to be around 8h of continuous playback by shuffling a large library at a bitrate of 256kbps AAC or lower, with the backlight off. Since that was a synthetic test, the real world battery life can be expected to be less in terms of total playback time, as well as other conditions that may cause your runtime to vary.
