Antique Japanese Satsuma Porcelain Bowl, Meiji Period.

Quite the impressive Samurai Warrior adorns the inside of this good Satsuma Period Japanesee porcelain bowl!  Don't you agree?
All the decorative features of this bowl are of course quite nice. The fine abstract cloud motif surrounding our heavenly warrior, and the nice geometric detailing on the exterior. In good antique condition. Some faint crazing is the only imperfection of note. I fine no cracks, flakes or chips. It is 5.25" in diameter and 2 1/8" tall. Lots of gilt work throughout the decoration. Indeed, the warrior seems almost 100% pure gold! No doubt a feature of his character that the artist wished to convey. As said artist provided no signature, it seems he wanted not a thing to detract from the importance of the brave and courageous spirit of this fine gentleman features on thhis bowl.
The Meiji Period is 1868-1912. I think this bowl is on the 1900-1912 side of that equation.
