Here I have the last items from my collection of lovely stylish pieces of silver by this exceptional maker, a Substantial Georgian Silver Teapot Sugar basin and milk jug by John Robins London 1805 and weighing approximately 1144 grams. A beautiful set in crisp condition. The quite large tea pot stands nearly 7” high and is in nice condition with very crisp bright cut decoration and no silver repairs that I can see. The wood handle has been glued together as shown in the last few photos and if you are wanting to use it with boiling liquid in it then I would recommend getting it replaced. Other than that the condition of this nearly 220 year old set is exceptional and remarkable. The marks on the sugar basin are a little less good than those on the hefty 197gram milk jug or the 612gram teapot where they are excellent but it looks to me as if they were just less well struck originally on the sugar basin rather than being worn (again, see photos).

Dating from the year of the Battle of Trafalgar this is a wonderful opportunity to own a bit of history at a sensible price.
