Fiat  Dualogic / Selespeed gearbox actuator / robot repair service.

This is an advert for you to send me your gearbox actuator for repair.

Fiat Idea 1.4 16v

Your unit will be fully stripped and cleaned

-new seals fitted

-new selespeed oil genuine tutela cs speed oil

-selection / engagement / clutch potentiometers scope tested

Once I have rebuilt the unit I then fit the unit to a car and do a test drive between 35-50 miles once I’m happy the unit will be boxed back up for delivery.

This is not to be compared to the cheaper options on eBay I do a complete job not just clean your unit replace the bare minimum bench test and send back.

I can do a service on the unit which is practically the same as the full refurb but I don’t replace any seals unless required or brushes in the motor the service price is £300 with return postage but no warranty

I have worked in a Fiat main dealer for the last 16 years and been repairing these for the last 5 years.

 I am one of the only people in the country that can rebuild these units.

All units will come with a 3 month warranty from the date of delivery.

The warranty is a return only warranty I don't pay any diagnosis or recovery costs.

I can also supply fit and reprogram these units for an extra £150+ vat but the vehicle would have to be brought to stoke on trent st3 2 postcode

This is a service to strip and rebuild your old unit so you would either need to remove yours and post it to me or bring the car to me.

Please make sure that when posting the items to be they are very well packed with bubble wrap and in a box but also the oil in the fluid reservoir needs to be emptied as they leak if turned upside down in the post

 Please always remember to put a letter in the box letting me know your details as I cannot and will not work on any units unless I know who`s they are

The reconditioning service is for oil leaks and also a common problem of the car dropping into neutral when braking hard ie coming to a round about to stop or a junction or also trying to use the kick down function it can drop into neutral .

I can repair the motors if the brushes or the oil seals have failed but if the copper windings in the unit have gone black and burnt this is not something I can currently repair and I would have to supply and fit a new motor if this is required I will let you know before undertaking any work on the unit.
