Condition: There is a coloured tassel missing from the trim at one end of the scarf.

This item has spent a lifetime being used for the purpose of its creation and has likely travelled far and wide with its nomadic creator. Signs of this life lived may be present on the piece in the form of stains, thread loss, loose threads, holes, tears, colour run and other imperfections. The mirrorwork is original and may have surface marks/minor cracks or missing parts. Condition must therefore be assumed to be "not" perfect. Obvious imperfections will be listed in the description and shown in the photos. Imperfections are the heart, soul and history of such old and rare collectible textiles.

Uses: The textile can be used for decoration, for example as a wall hanging. It can also be re-purposed to make a range of objects such as a mat, cushion cover, purse, small bag etc.

Care: Dry clean only is recommended and the textile may benefit from a professional clean.

This is an exceptional handmade traditional textile steeped in history and mystique. A truly unique, collectible item with modern-day practical potential.
