Diese wunderschöne, von Josef Ohmeyer handgeschnitzte, Marienfigur aus Holz zeigt Maria mit ihrem Kind.

Die 32 cm hohe Skulptur stammt aus Oberstdorf, ist ein Unikat und zeigt eindrucksvoll das handwerkliche Geschick ihres Schöpfers. (Leider scheint der Künstler Anfang 2023 verstorben und die Welt damit ein Stückchen ärmer zu sein. Falls diese Information flach ist, würde ich mich über eine solche Nachricht sehr freuen!)

This wonderful and handmade artpiece, by Josef Ohmeyer, shows Maria and her child. The wooden sculpture reaches a height of 32 cm and originates in Oberstdorf. As it is handmade it is an and shows the impressive talent of its creator. (With sorrow I read about the passing of the artist in early 2023. If anybody knows different, please let me know.)
