The dogwood is a shrub with straight or curved stems up to 3 m long and covered with stiff prickly, sickle-shaped spines. Flowering stems are sometimes without spikes. The flowers are pink or white. The fruits are one-seeded nuts, closed in a flower bed, which grows and forms a bright red, ovoid to spherical fruit - a rose hip. It blooms in May-July, and the fruits ripen in autumn.
Infectious diseases are successfully treated with preparations prepared on the basis of rose hips. They are used for atherosclerosis, diseases of the liver and kidneys, respiratory organs, gastrointestinal diseases and colds, metabolic disorders, endocrine disorders. The oil extract of rose hips is used in the treatment of eczema, trophic ulcers, stomatitis (inflammation of the mucous membrane of the mouth).
Rosehip fruits enhance the regeneration (restoration) of tissues, the synthesis of hormones, the permeability of vessels. The fruits and seeds have anti-inflammatory, bile and diuretic effects. In this way, rose hips, as one of the main suppliers of vitamin C in the body, we need not only to protect ourselves from infections. Rosehip lowers blood pressure, normalizes metabolism, helps iron absorption.

Method of preparation:
One filter bag is filled with 250 ml. boiling water and let stand for about 5 min. Sweeten as desired. It is recommended to use natural sweeteners such as stevia or maple syrup.
