A 3 1/2 inch tall (to top of stopper) rectangular-shaped antique TOOTH POWDER DENTIFRICE bottle. This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating back to the late 1800 - early 1900's era. Almost 50 years ago some of these were found in an upstairs space above some old office buildings in WALLA WALLA Washington.

Bottle's label reads in part: "Dr. F.W. REES TOOTH POWDER An Excellent DENTIFRICE ... STEWART HOLMES DRUG CO, WALLA WALLA, WASHINGTON."
Condition: Bottle is in clean condition, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. (Please see picture for idea of overall condition).
Age: An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. late 1800 - early 1900.

Though the bottle is fairly plain, the label goes on to say "DR. F.W. REES, GRADUATE DENTAL DEPARTMENT UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA ... REES - WINAN BLOCK, WALLA WALLA, WASH. ... For Cleansing and Preserving the Teeth USE at least once a day with the prophylactic tooth brush". Many collectors of antique dental bottles are dentists themselves, building small collections of quality antique dental bottles to display in their waiting rooms and offices and this is a prime example of just this sort of thing, check it out!
