HOW DO PREGNANCY TESTS WORK?
Pregnancy test measures the presence of the hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotrophins (HCG) in your urine
This hormone builds up rapidly in your body in the days following successful conception
The further in to the pregnancy you are the higher the levels of HCG in your urine
HOW GOOD ARE THE TEST?
They comply with all UK and EU legislation to ensure the product is consistently accurate and safe and can be trusted. Each batch is checked very carefully for quality and accuracy and they are 99% accurate.
WHEN SHOULD I USE THE TEST?
You can use it any time! We do recommend first thing in the morning as that is when your urine is most concentrated.
HOW DO I USE THE PREGNANCY TEST
1. Open the sealed pouch and remove the stick
2 Place the pregnancy test stick vertically (straight) into the urine sample for at least 10 seconds, making sure the arrows are pointing downwards.
3 Remove the stick from the urine and place the stick on a clean and dry surface
4 Read results as the bands appear.
Although positive results may appear as early as 1 minute depending on the concentration of hCG, please wait for 5-10 minutes to confirm negative results. It is important that the background is clear before the result is read. Results obtained after 10 minutes may be considered invalid
Discard the test after use
WHEN CAN I SEE THE RESULT OF THE PREGNANCY TEST?
You can see this after just 5 minutes and a positive result can be seen in less than 30 seconds
We recommend 10 minutes to confirm a negative result
