Typical Applications:

This battery is ideal for cars running high displacement engines - including TVR, Ultima GTR, Radical RXC, AC Cobra and Ford GT40s etc. It is also commonly used on rally cars with large front halogen spot lights fitted to the front - typically Mk2 Escorts, Lancia Stratos and so on. It is also our most commonly used size on cars which adopt a complete total loss charging system - often in autograss, stock cars and has also been fitted to some historic single seater racing cars, up to and including historic F1 level.

We have plenty of other sizes available if required to suit every application - from small single seaters, through to the latest supercars, and even the £2.5m McLaren Solus GT Prototype!

We are the cheapest supplier of Motorsport UK Registered LiFePO4 batteries in the UK - cheaper than Deadweight, Antigravity, Braille, Varley etc. Contact us for better prices!

Please Note: Before fitting a LiFePO4 battery of any brand you should ensure your charging system is in good order. Poor grounds in charging and internal alternator voltage regulator circuits can damage LiFePO4 batteries. Also ensure your battery is positioned sufficiently far away from very hot engine components such as exhaust manifolds. LiFePO4 batteries present different load characteristics to your vehicles electrical system when compared to gel or lead acid. For the vast majority of cars and bikes this is not a problem, but there may be a compatibility issue if your car/bike uses an old technology thyristor based rectifier. Please contact us if you need clarification.

We recommend you isolate your battery using an FIA switch or one of our isolation switch kits when not in use to avoid parasitic discharge. Be aware the digital display should be switched off when not in use to prevent battery discharge and all forms of parasitic drain should be isolated when the battery is left for long periods to avoid damage from 100% discharge which may invalidate warranty.
