Very old antique Indian (India) Solid 900 coin silver biscuit tiered tin. Measures 5 3/4" x 5" tall and weighs 411 grams or 14.5 standard ounces of solid silver. This antique silver box showcases intricate figural animals that add a touch of elegance to any collection. Crafted in India during the 1800s, this rare and large Kutch piece is made of solid sterling silver and features a tiered design. The ornate pattern and composition make it a unique addition to any antique or silver collection. Its age and history only add to its charm and value. There is a inner tray that sits flush in the middle top of the bottom part of the box. Either warm liquid was kept on the bottom so the tray above and it's contents would stay warm or a heat element was placed on the bottom. The piece is in rough shape with some holes and splits in the bottom part. It's very old and was really used well.
