Since the Star Trek uniform badges, insignia and accessories I put in my store last year turned out to be so popular, this year (February 2022 as I’m writing this) I’ve decided I’m going to add more useful items for the franchise (and if you have any suggestions please let me know!).
And now that primitive replicators are available this was made on a primitive replicator (3D printer!)
USS Voyager!
At the beginning of Season 3 of Voyager (S03E09 to be exact) the problem of the Emergency Medical Hologram not being able to leave sickbay was solved when the crew managed to obtain a handy piece of technology from the 29th century: an Autonomous Mobile Holo-Emitter. All the EMH had to do was to put the small device on his arm, upload his matrix into it and he could move around the ship the same as a normal crewmember. He could also go on away missions and even ended up commanding the Voyager at one point.
(Fun fact: Did you know Robert Picardo was able to so excellently play the EMH, not just because he’s a phenomenally talent comic and straight actor, but also because he is in actual fact a fully qualified medical doctor? What better a person to play the Doctor than a doctor!)
It was only a matter of time before I ended up making something like this, and it was one I wanted to make not just because it would be cool, but also because it was a bit of a test to see if I could make the SD cards fit seamlessly.
