TAMIYA now presents the CC-02 chassis (Cross Country) in a version with a Mercedes Benz G500 body.
The CC-02 chassis was modeled on real off-road vehicles and has a frame chassis, cone differentials front and rear and a 4-link suspension. The rigid axle at the front and rear makes the model particularly suitable for off-road use and the 4 CVA oil-filled shock absorbers absorb any bumps perfectly.
The drive is provided by a powerful 540 engine installed behind the front axle. This ensures good weight distribution when going off-road. Encapsulated on the engine is the transmission box, which transmits the power to the front and rear axles via movable cardan shafts.
The body has the unmistakable design of the Mercedes Benz G500 and is made of polycarbonate. In addition, TAMIYA donated a separate front grille, side mirrors and wheel arches.
The highlight is the included TAMIYA TLU-01 light set for stylish LED lighting of the model.
