The assault protective suit is designed for being in the zone of active combat operations and is the embodiment of convenience and maximum area of protection. All elements of the suit (neck, clavicles, torso (chest and back), shoulders, groin area and stomach, hips, coccyx area) have ballistic protection of the 1st class DSTU 8782:2018 / IIIA NIJ 0101.06 (2nd class optional).
UKRTAC armor packs withstood firing by a 9x18 caliber pistol bullet (velocity 345±1 m/c) with a spherical head part with a non-heat-resistant steel core in steel in a steel shell, clad with tompak, 57-Н-181s cartridge (Makarov pistol) and a 9x19 Luger bullet (velocity 409±1 m/c) in an all-metal shell made of a copper alloy with a nose part of a hemispherical shape with a soft (lead) core, according to DSTU 8782:2018 "Means of personal protection. Armored vests.", regarding the 1st class of protection. The depth of deformation outside the obstacle does not exceed 22 mm.
The ballistic component is in vacuum bags, which increases the service life and eliminates the effect of hydro shock when wet. The total area of protection is 104 Dm2. Additionally, armor plates up to class 6 of DSTU 8782:2018 / IV NIJ 0101.06 are installed
All protective elements are fastened with D-rings and have Velcro fasteners
Precautionary measures. It is forbidden to dry on surfaces and in conditions where the temperature is more than 80 degrees Celsius (closeness to an open fire, on stoves, etc.)
