The structural composition of synchronous belt is generally composed of the following four parts:                        

(1) glass fiber tensile layer, is composed of multiple strands of glass fiber rope, along the width of the tape according to the spiral winding cloth in the section line position of the tape, its high strength, small elongation, corrosion resistance and heat resistance is good
(2) neoprene tape backing, it will be firmly bonded to the glass fiber in the section line position, plays the role of protecting the tensile material; in the transmission process need to use the tape backing occasions, can prevent the damage caused by friction, it is more than the polyurethane tape backing has a superior hydrolysis resistance and heat resistance
(3) neoprene belt teeth, belt teeth by the high shear strength, hardness of the appropriate neoprene composition, requires precision molding and accurate distribution of the position of the pulley with the correct engagement of the tooth groove, the root of its teeth and the section line to maintain the required distance, bending pitch without change
(4) Nylon cloth wrapping layer which is to protect the anti-friction part of the tape, should have superior abrasion resistance, is composed of nylon canvas with small coefficient of friction. Neoprene synchronous belt hydrolysis resistance, heat resistance, impact resistance is better than polyurethane synchronous belt, its transmission power range, especially in high-power transmission, polyurethane synchronous belt can not be compared with this. The working temperature is generally in the range of -34~100℃.
