| You're buying a set of TWO escutcheons, made of brass or some other similar gold-colored metal. The escutcheons measure approximately 7 3/8 x 2 1/4 inches across the back. Any spots in the photos are just camera flash glare.
The escutcheons do not appear to be marked. The escutcheons have developed a mellow antique patina or are discolored with age, depending on your perspective. Overall, this hardware is in excellent condition with no damage or problems. There is some wear around the hole in which a doorknob would be inserted. The escutcheons could use a bit more polishing if desired.
