This is a lovely old decorative Georgian / Victorian painted toleware tea caddy.The caddy has a painted panel to the front with the word TEA in the centre.The lid is also painted with lines. It measures 5.2 inches across,4.25 inches in depth and is 4.5 inches in height.The caddy is in pretty decent condition with just light wear commensurate with age and use [ rubbing to paintwork at front and on lid as shown ].It probably dates to the second half of the 1800s.
