This is a VINTAGE ceramic trivet handmade and hand painted in Italy in 1995.  It is in the shape of a cat and is painted with colorful glazes.  It is a semi-gloss finish.  The cat is set up in the back with a hole for a wire so it can be hung on the wall.  This cat was made in Italy specifically for The Cellar, which is a housewares shop within the department stores.  This trivet is in AMAZING EXCELLENT CONDITION!  There are no scratches, chips or cracks.  It is perfect for any country kitchen or cottagecor design.
