Deagostini takes on everyone's favorite astromech droid from "Star Wars," R2-D2, with their latest weekly magazine! This Artoo will be 47.4cm tall upon completion, and its parts will be spread over 100 issues of the magazine.

Reproduced from the prop used in the film, Artoo is equipped with the latest electronic circuitry; drive motors are equipped on both legs, to duplicate the droid's movement in the film. It's also programmed to sense obstacles and stairs. It features a rechargeable battery, Luke's lightsaber hidden inside its head which will pop out, and you can even shoot photos and short video clips using the video/still image camera! A face-detection function is also provided; a special app to operate Artoo from your Android smartphone, iPhone or tablet via Bluetooth is available. Artoo also has a voice command mode!
