Better Little Book 1939 Vintage Lone Ranger Great Western Span 1477 Whitman

This is a vintage "Better Little Book" titled, "Lone Ranger The Great Western Span" (# 1477) published by Whitman Co., Racine, WI. 1939 copyright and also dated 1942. The book is based on "famous radio series with Silver and Tonto" and measures 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/4". This is also a "flip book". There are miniature pictures on each page in the upper right corner so you can flip thru the pages which creates a persistence of motion movement or moving pictures effect.  The author is Fran Striker. There is everyday wear and some chipping on cover and spine. No missing or loose pages.
