Shuttle train control for direct current railways
Enables the automatic movement of a train between 2 terminal stations. Simplest connection (only 4 cables). No switching contacts are required; the train's location is detected via built-in track occupancy detectors. The current operating states are displayed via 4 LEDs. Further features include slow starting and braking, the dwell times for both terminal stations can be set separately, integrated light signal control with a prototypically smooth signal image change, switchable between semi- and fully automatic, with semi-automatic the trains can be started manually using a button. No control transformer required, connection is made directly to 10 – 16 V AC or 14 – 22 V DC. Since the train is operated using direct current, operation with alternating current (Märklin) and digital locomotives is not possible.
