This early 19th-century French faience plate from Saint-Clement is decorated in pink and green, with a painterly bouquet of carnations tied in the centre. The raised edge is beautifully shaped and the lip features further flowers and leaves. This elegant plate is characteristic of Eastern France faience. Shows wear according to age.
