Vintage Virginia Military Institute (V.M.I.) ROTC Cadet uniform pieces (2 coats)

1. The dress uniform coat and;

2. The other is the uniform red lined caped overcoat.

I believe the era of the coat is 1950s. The left sleeve says "U.S. ROTC. The coat has old cleaners tags pinned on it. There is a tag on the inside of the Caped Overcoat that says Shenandoah Tailoring Co. Inc. Mt. Sidney, VA. All wool except ornamentation. It appears to have a name on the tag MR. J. F. Wolfe and a date 1-26-1951. On the sleeve there is a paper tag stapled that reads Wolfe J. C. It is in very good vintage condition with the exception of the black lining in the caped overcoat has come apart on the inside left. About 14 inches the lining is detached (not torn or damaged) (needs to be stitched); The bottom of each coat has raw him as I suppose was customary during this era (if you need closeup pictures I have them). The back of the coat has a button seam that needs reinforcing. Two (2) brass buttons are missing on the cape. I have the the two buttons. The buttons read “CADET BIG SEMPER Trannis V.M.I.” If more pictures are needed please send a message. All flaws are noted as far as I can examine.
