Exquisitely hand painted with attention to the most minute of details, this stunning piece features a 8 1/2" figural carp on the lid with aquatic plant accents.. The base bottom sides show jumping carp fish with (2) fanged bat handles!!!
Decorated in a vast array of earth toned & translucent paints & enamels...
The base bottom bears the maker's hallmark mark, as shown.
And the condition remains simply a collector's dream. The piece has been examined with great detail (under a 10X jeweler's lamp) and no chips, cracks, repairs or other flaws may be found at all. Some very, very minor paint wear that is really too minor to even mention really...
We'll just say as excellent conditioned as one could possibly hope for!
There is almost no paint wear present to speak of otherwise. Quite simply, it remains in near original condition.
