This piece is the hummingbird of glass vases. It is so exquisite and delicate! The glass is very thin! The body of the vase sits upon an elegant foot. The shape of it reminds me of the trumpet flowers hummingbirds like to eat nectar from. Its is a beautiful shape! The vase stands at a height of 3.5 inches and has a width of 1.75 inches. It features an amber base glass and a heavy metallic oxide finish. The vase was produced in the early 1930s using hand blown techniques. Its pontil mark has been polished. It is an original hand made item and is signed M.F.
