Chicago- One of the Paradoxes of Uncle Sam's Defense Program smacking a bit of Gilbert and Sullivan is the training station almost in the dead center of the continent which trains men to sail the seven seas. The school 30 miles out of Chicago is the Great Lakes Navy Training Station and Thousands of the Young Men studying there have never seen an ocean. Photo measures 9 x 7 inches.
