Alex is the son of the President of the United States, Ellen Claremont-Diaz, the American equivalent of a prince. He, his sister June, and the vice president's granddaughter Nora are the White House Trio, the closest analogue to the royal family. So when Ellen starts the election campaign, she realizes that she has to look for better assistants. But when a photo of an alleged fight between Alex and the British Prince Henry, who is considered Alex's old rival, and also at the royal wedding, gets into the tabloids, the situation becomes dramatically complicated. The only way to prevent an international scandal is to pretend that Alex and Henry are actually best friends.
