It has a rip roaring Seymour Duncan Hotrail in the bridge position which gives some real rock power and a Fender Pawn Shop '51 in the neck position which gives those classic Fender neck position sounds. The Seymour Duncan Hotrail is upside down so that it fits into the single coil slot with out any further routing.

It has an original Fender Duo Sonic II bridge which has been upgraded with brass saddles which give the guitar extra sustain and are usually found on high end Fender Telecasters. Original Fender parts were used on the control plate, control knobs. At some point the original tuning keys holes were filled and Fender Stratocaster tuning keys were installed which are quality tuners. The pickguard is a replacement one which is a nice bright white tortoise shell effect which looks great against the Copper Metallic. Schaller strap buttons have been installed. The guitar is very light and you could play it all day with out any bother. It weighs 6.64lbs / 3.010KG.

The finish has been on for some time, and looks fantastic, there is some play wear and some various dings, such as a small chip on the inside of the neck pocket, and a ding on the upper side of the body near the edge in the middle and a smaller chip below. It all adds played in character and mojo which allow to relax and enjoy this wonderful, hot rodded Guitarsmith custom vintage Duo Sonic II which are great guitars and are becoming increasingly rare and collectible.
