MEDIA CONDITION:

N (New) = Record may be unplayed or has been played once or couple of times.

MY MEDIA GRADING SYSTEM (please review, as it’s slightly different from the Goldmine Standard)

FS  (Factory Sealed) = Brand new, sealed, unopened and unplayed

M (Mint) = Record has never been played, but the seal has been opened. Typically the it was opened to check the label designation and release version. (e.g. Blue Note, Prestige, promo copies etc.)

N (New) = Record may be unplayed or has been played once or couple of times with great care.

N- Record has been played relatively few times-will play as if new. A couple light hairline or paper inner sleeve scuffs may be presence. (NM+ and NM)

E+ (Excellent Plus) = Very little if any surface noise in spots (almost new). Most E+ records will NOT have any noticeable playback issues. This condition should be perfectly fine for most collectors (VG++ / VG+)

E (Excellent) = Slight overall surface noise typical of many older used LPs. Expect multiple hairline and/or scuff marks but NOT that can be felt with your fingernail. There may be a couple pops or ticks but not many if any. Most high quality needles and stereos can remove the slight overall noise.

E-  (Excellent Minus) Surface and background noise below music level but record is noisy. May have some scratches. (VG)
