The scabbard is very artistic with a magnificent scene of a flying dragon!
This short sword is thought to have been made in the Edo period!
You will never get the same one again!
The material for the scabbard that holds the sword was processed from deer antlers purchased from a samurai residence in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture.
The craftsman who took the time and effort to carve the shape of a flying dragon on it is amazing!
This sword has a clear ripple pattern! It is rare to find a sword with ripples remaining!
If not sold, it will become my collection!
This is an item I would like to sell to someone who can take good
care of and store it well!
