A friend of mine gave me several Snowbabies that she had purchased in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.   She gave them to me in 1997.  Since, I have kept them stored in a box.  They have not been exposed to UV, moisture, or heat since then.  They are in the condition that I received them.  This one is from Japan.  Most she gave me are from a trip she took to Germany after WWII during the cold war.  Check out the other collectibles she gave me in my shop or other listings.  It is time they come out of the box and go to other collectors for a new home.  All of them remind me of the Velveteen Rabbit.  They aren't perfect but they have been loved.
Thanks for shopping
