This is a rare hardcover of W. Ross Ashby's classic Design for a Brain (later published as Design for A Brain: The Origin of Adaptive Behavior) published in 1954. This book is a 2nd printing of the first edition with corrections (see photos of front matter). Book is in excellent condition. Dust jacket has some damage, including a tear carefully repaired with clear tape (see photos), but overall is also in good condition.
