They are firm cards that are about the size of card and have beautiful picture on them. They are very easy to carry in the case which is about the size of a small wallet. You have to activate Amiibo on Switch setting and you can you each card once a day. Each card will give you a Chest with a random treasure inside and plenty of food and supplies. It will make you adventure so much more fun since you won't have to waste so much time finding supplies like food, weapons and armor so you can focus on your exploration of the land.
