Red Cocoa Cacao (Theobroma cacao) The unique character of Liberica coffee is not shared by other coffees, namely that it has a very distinctive aroma. Usually, many coffees have fruit or spice flavors. This coffee has the taste of jackfruit and vegetables. Other flavors that this coffee has are smoky, nutty and chocolatey. The caffeine content in Liberica coffee beans is around 1.12 to 1.26% and the aroma is very strong, the taste itself is bitter and very thick. Quite an interesting taste. Even though this coffee grows in acidic peat soil, what is unique is that the acid level is not too high.
