This antique Chinese figurine made of carved and painted celluloid depicts a woman with long robes holding flowers in both hands. There are many intricate details in her clothes, jewelry, hairstyle, and the flowers themselves. The figure is about 8 1/2 inches high and is fixed to a wood base that is about 1 inch high and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. This piece is in incredible condition for its age--there are some spots of paint loss/wear but no visible cracks, chips, or repairs. A rare find.
