STAR WARS THE POWER OF THE FORCE Exclusive Figures Asst. 40905 (Kenner)

This pair of 3.75-inch action figures were included in the Star Wars Escape the Death Star Action Figure Game (game not included) released by Parker Brothers in 1998. The game was based on the climactic scene from Star Wars: A New Hope, where Luke and Vader duel on the Death Star while the rebels try to escape. The figures feature basic articulation and come with lightsabers that can be attached to their hands. The figures are modeled after the original Kenner line of Star Wars toys from the late 1970s and early 1980s, which popularized the 3.75-inch scale. The figures were exclusive to the game and were not sold separately although a similar Darth Vader figure was released. This slicked back hair version of Luke from from his battle with the Dianoga in the trash compactor is unique to this set.

STAR WARS THE POWER OF THE FORCE was a toy line produced by Hasbro from 1995 to 2000, featuring characters, vehicles, and accessories from the original trilogy and the Expanded Universe. It was the first Star Wars action figure collection since the vintage line ended in 1985. The initial figures had a muscular look that was later toned down for more movie accuracy. The packaging design changed over the years, from orange to green to hologram to freeze frame. The toy line was well received by collectors and fans, and introduced many new characters and variations to the Star Wars universe.

Card is punched/unpunched, lies flat/has a slight warp with light gloss scratches and imperfections visible in the photos.

Blister:

Blister is sealed, clear with minor light scratches and in excellent shape.

Multi-pack set of two action figures will be bagged, bubble wrapped and packed in a  12x10x4 cardboard box. They will be delivered via USPS Ground Advantage.
