Works with your iPhone® or Android™

Plug your iPod® or iPhone into the front USB port and enjoy complete control, not to mention faster charging. This JVC's built-in iPod controls let you access your playlists intuitively. If you're a Pandora®, Spotify®, or iHeartRadio® listener, you can connect your iPhone® and access basic functions like "play," "pause," "thumbs-up," and "thumbs-down" with the receiver's controls. With an Android phone, you can stream Pandora, Spotify, and iHeartRadio through Bluetooth.

For added convenience, the 2-way control feature lets you pick your music using the receiver or the phone itself. If your phone is equipped with Siri® Eyes Free technology, anything you can do with Siri can be done with the KD-X35MBS.

With compatible Android phones, you can use the JVC Music Control app to get more from your music when you connect your smartphone via USB. You can list and search stored MP3 music by artist or album, or let the app analyze your songs and create a playlist that suits your mood.

A charging USB connection

The powerful 1.5A USB port lets you keep a smartphone charged while it's performing many battery-draining tasks at once. With your smartphone connected, you can use Drive Change Mode to listen to your phone's internal memory as one source and access its little microSD card as another. Drive Change also lets you switch between multiple memory cards in a USB multi-card reader or multiple USB thumbdrives connected to a USB hub. The KD-X35MBS plays MP3, WMA, WAV, and FLAC files, and they'll all sound great, thanks to the built-in sound-shaping tools.

Easily expand your system

If you're planning to expand your audio system in the future, the KD-X35MBS includes three sets of 4-volt preamp outputs for adding amps to your system. If you're into great radio, you can also connect the SiriusXM satellite radio tuner (not included), so you can enjoy music, news, sports, and more, wherever you roam.

Want to keep your steering wheel audio controls?

If you use this receiver in a vehicle with steering wheel audio controls, you'll need an adapter to keep them. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and radio, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls.
