Vintage post-war SG2 metal soda syphon by Sparklets Limited, Made in England.

This soda syphon is made of hammered metal, and decorated with four green bands around the body.  The syphon is of green plastic with a chrome nozzle and metal canister holder.  Looks to be the original hose.  Everything fits together smoothly and securely, so it looks ready to start making soda water if a bulb is provided.  Although I have not had it in use.  I also recommend giving it a good internal clean if drinks are to be made.

This somewhat uncommon model was made in England between 1946 and 1965.  Uniquely, it retains its circular chrome drip tray.

Stands 30cm tall (on the tray).  Widest body diameter is 10.5cm and the drip tray diameter is 14.2cm.

Minor scratches are visible on the metal body under close inspection, but all wear is very modest and the whole piece is in fine vintage condition.
