1931 ANTIQUE PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM & JOURNAL TSS ULYSSES CRUISE TO FAR EAST JAPAN ETC

Dated 1931 to 1932 a superb photograph album and typescript journal recording a cruise to the Far East.

Departing Liverpool on T.S.S. Ulysses (1913) of the Blue Funnel Line to Japan,  via Marseilles, Port Said and Suez.

Two maps and 103 photographs on 12 album leaves (24 sides). The album looks complete, bar possibly something stuck onto inside board.  The photographs look to be mainly of the bought variety,  interspersed with some amateur. Sizes from small up to about postcard size.

Contents in good condition with minor marks and wear from age and handling.  Album sound with some age related marks and wear,  binding good.

Album 32.8cm x 25.4cm 1.1 kg. approx.
