A decent budget base layer bought years ago to use as a gravel riding top. And in reality it's wicking capabilities are quite good with the 50/50 mix of polyester and bamboo

The deep  1/4 zip is great for venting, and the fit isn't overly tight. Nice touches include the reversed zipper, and the high quality stitching around the armpits securing a nice articulated fit.

Designed primarily for days out on the fells, and multi-day backpacking, it'd also work for easy paced 10K's. And despite the lack of rear pockets I've found it quite good for gravel riding.

Bamboo content is quite effective at keeping odour at bay, doing a decent, cheaper job than merino wool. The 50% here is high enough to be effective.

No holes, no tears, and zero pilling.

Always washed in Nikwax or Grangers aftercare products.
